Choosing a home inspector within the limited time constraints and deadlines is not easy and timing is most often critical. I understand the importance of a timely home inspection, so I am available seven days a week. Same day inspections are often possible. I encourage you to accompany me during the 2-3 hour visit. Your participation during the inspection process is important.
While there is no current regulation or licencing provisions for home inspectors in the Province of Ontario there are, unfortunately, some home inspectors that claim to be Licensed Home Inspectors. Nothing could be further from the truth. Take the time to confirm any home inspector's qualifications before considering them for your home inspection.

Discovery Home Inspection is a locally owned company and is operated by Dennis Moore, a Certified Professional Home Inspector with InterNACHI - the world's largest home inspector association. He has worked as a carpenter for over 35 years, which is valuable hands-on experience that gives him insight that other home inspectors may not posses. Dennis has deep roots in the community. He is focused exclusively on performing residential home inspections in the Durham Region of Ontario.
As an InterNACHI Certified Home Inspector, I submit myself to their higher standards of practice, continuing education, their strict code of ethics, and I have a world wide network of home inspectors that help me have the best resources possible for YOUR home inspection.
